Stewardship & Generosity

Give to God's Work

Your gifts make ministry possible—supporting worship, outreach, education, and our sacred spaces

Why We Give

"Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

— 2 Corinthians 9:7

At St. Philip's, we believe that giving is an act of worship and gratitude. Through generous stewardship, we sustain vibrant worship, serve our neighbors, nurture spiritual growth, and maintain our beautiful historic church home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes! St. Philip's Episcopal Church is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You'll receive a year-end giving statement for your records.

How much should I give?

Scripture invites us to tithe (give 10% of our income), but we encourage you to pray about what's right for you. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. The most important thing is to give joyfully and generously.

Can I designate my gift?

Yes! While most gifts support our general operating budget, you can designate gifts for specific purposes such as music, outreach, building maintenance, or the endowment. Contact the church office if you'd like to make a designated gift.

What if I can't make a financial gift?

Stewardship is about more than money—it's about sharing your time, talent, and treasure. There are many ways to support St. Philip's through volunteer service, sharing your gifts, and being present in our community.

Thank You for Your Generosity

Your gifts sustain our mission and make ministry possible. We are grateful for your partnership in Christ's work.
